1. Design & Engineering Challenges
- Subterranean Moisture & Condensation Risk: As an underground entertainment basement, seasonal ambient humidity created high risks of exterior glass condensation on conventional single-glazed enclosures.
- Architectural Concrete Column Obstructions: The designated wine cellar perimeter was interrupted by two major load-bearing concrete structural columns, preventing off-the-shelf rectangular modular cabinetry.
- Acoustic Harmony for Residential Entertaining: The wine cellar was positioned directly adjacent to the villa’s private home theater and formal dining lounge, requiring the cooling system to operate with minimal acoustic disturbance.
2. ROYAL METAL Engineering Solution
- Thermal-Break Framing & Double-Glazed Argon Glass: Engineered a bespoke floor-to-ceiling SUS 304 stainless steel frame featuring integrated thermal-break barriers and argon-filled double-pane ultra-clear tempered glass, preventing surface condensation.
- Parametric Column Cladding & Architectural Integration: Our Foshan engineering team developed custom 3D parametric CAD shop drawings, wrapping the structural columns in matching PVD Black Titanium stainless steel panels with concealed LED accent channels.
- Remote Split Refrigeration Architecture: Engineered a split climate cooling layout, positioning the quiet evaporator unit inside the cellar ceiling plenum while locating the heat-rejecting condensing unit in an exterior service yard.
- Hybrid SUS 304 & American White Oak Display Systems: Combined precision laser-cut SUS 304 bottle cradles with solid American white oak presentation shelves treated with natural, solvent-free plant oils.

- Zero On-Site Structural Modifications: 100% factory trial pre-assembly and dimensional verification at our Foshan facility ensured seamless on-site mechanical assembly without cutting or welding on site.
